ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Bob Simpson, the founder of Canmedical, has 32 years of experience selling and servicing veterinary and medical equipment across Canada. Bob has a wide range of equipment experience and is well connected in the industry. He can evaluate/appraise equipment value on site and remotely.
His specialty is imaging equipment such as film and radiology systems, as well as ultrasound.
CANMEDICAL ULTRASOUND
Veterinary ultrasound is one of our specialties. We are an authorized Esaote/Biosound Pie Medical distributor with service and support nationwide. We sell and service the Pie Tringa, Aquila, Mylab 15, 20, 25, 30 VET, 50 and 70 ultrasound scanners.
DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY
Canmedical specializes in DR and CR digital radiography equipment from respected manufacturers such as Vetel Diagnostics (Envision G2,G3,G4), Rad-Link (CR Pro) and Allpro Imaging (Scan-X). Our DR and CR systems equal or exceed competitive products such as IDDEX, EKLIN and Sound Technologies.

AUTOCLAVES
Canmedical has been distributing and servicing steam sterilizers for almost 25 years. We sell and service new and refurbished Pelton & Crane sterilizer such as, Midmark, Ritter, Amsco and many others including Tuttnauer. In addition we stock replacement door gaskets, filters and other service parts.

VEEN CANADA
Veterinary Equipment Exchange Network (VEEN) is a venue for veterinarians to buy and sell used veterinary equipment DIRECT from other veterinarians who have surplus or unused equipment for sale. It can also be used to sell and relocate the entire contents of a veterinary practice anywhere in North America. Canmedical facilitates these transactions and produces market values for this equipment.
There are three levels of VEEN transactions:
- The first is a simple scenario, a direct transaction, clinic to clinic.
- The second involves Canmedical repairing the equipment if it is not working so it can be resold.
- The third is even easier, Canmedical makes a direct offer to buy the equipment. The concept is simple and very effective.
